Had a discussion with PPD Bentong Officers, SMK Khai Mun Bentong Principal. Together we planned for computational thinking, Arduino Robotics and STEM Outreach programs. Today, we embarked a workshop for 30 school children and teachers.
Together with SK Seri Biram PTA’s, exploring the Wedo competition for school children aged between 7 – 9 years old.

A lengthy discussion with En Arman Tojid and En Mahadir from JPNP and PPD Kuantan, regarding the upcoming STEM Carnival and STEM Grooming Camp. Details will be updated soon.
More that 95 teams competed in the East Coast qualifying league in UMP. 31 facilitators from UMP join force with Petrosains Volunteers in organizing this competetion (RBTX East Coast Regional Qualifying League).
The competetion is divided into 3 categories, namely Line Tracer Junior (primary schools), Line Tracer Advance (secondary schools) and Robo Sumo (1kg).

Dipengerusikan oleh Dr. Latip bin Muhammad, Timbalan Pengarah Bahagian Perancangan dan Penyelidikan Dasar Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia. Delegasi dari UMP terdiri dari Professor Dr. Jamil Bin Ismail dan Professor Madya Ir. Dr. Nurul Hazlina Noordin dari Jabatan Jaringan Industri dan Masyarakat.
Assisting Petrosains PlaySmart Kuantan in their RBTX TTT. 30 primary and secondary school teachers participated in this event.
This year, RBTX adopted MyInvent Motive Arduino Robots in their training. Among challenges included in the training were line tracer (simple junction selection), advance tracer (obstacles and multi colour lines) as well as sumo.
A collaborative effort between MDeC and Forest Interactive and Universiti Malaysia Pahang.
Level Up @ School introduces ‘Game Design’ to school children. 45 participants around Pahang attended this workshop in UMP STEM Lab.
