Today, UMP STEM-Sat was deployed 100 m from ground. The on-board data acquisition system was developed on a Raspberry Pi platform while the communication between the cansat with its ground station make use of the arduino technology.
The STEM-Sat comes together with a dashboard that monitors its altitude, location and PM-25 readings.
The drone telemetry system utilises the Ardupilot open source platform.

35 teachers and students of SMK Pekan, Pahang had participated in this program. Students have gone through activities involving Arduino Programming and electronics systems.
