Among items discussed were:-
Congratulations to all winners and participants of 2020 Pahang Online Robotic Challenge.
Primary school children competed with each others in three different tracks, LEGO robotics, mBOT as well as UMP STEM Bot.
Students were exposed to block programming concepts and line tracing throughout the competition.
An interesting session of the the Beidou Sattelite application in underwater radar mapping and smart farming application.
Week 3 covers the topic of Electrically Small Antenna, which among the most attractive antenna structure due to it’s simplicity in the design process and compact size. However, these come with a trade off narrow bandwidth and low efficient radiancy.
For this chapter, please complete the following:-
This Lab assignment contributes 5% to the course works marks.
Video for class today is as follows:-
Another subject that I’ll be facilitating this semester is Electronic System Design.
Learning outcomes of this course are as follows:-
The knowledge content of this course can be charted out in these 3 main domains:-
Had the privilege to be one of the panelist for today’s Karnival Buku Ilmiah 2020 Session #6.

An interesting topic discussed via the regular webinars by EuroCham.
Had a first synchronous session today.
Updated are resources for BEE4433 in:-
An interesting sharing session in BeiDou Navigation Satellite System by The National Remote Sensing Center of China and in collaboration with Malaysia Space Agency, Universiti Malaysia Pahang and Guilin University of Electronic Technology.
BEE 4433 Antenna Theory and Radio Propagation is among the courses that I’ll be teaching in this semester. Looking forward to meeting the new batch online :).
There are 3 main outcomes targeted from this course as shown here:
The first outcome is targeted into establishing a solid understanding on the theories and concept behind an antenna design. This include being able to characterize and explain
The second outcome aims in developing students ability to design and simulate antenna to meet design requirements.
Here, not only is the simulation ability is reflected via the competencies of using a CAD tools such as the 3D full wave solver, but also to fabricate and measure the performance of a prototype antenna in a lab scale.
This means a student should be able to:-
The final outcome touches on a skills that is essential for all engineering graduates – communication both verbal and written skills.
Specifically for this course, we’ll look into these two domain:-
