Sustainable Arts in Turkiye

In recent years, there has been a growing awareness about the impact of human activities on the environment. As a result, many people are making conscious efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and promote sustainable living.

One group of people that is leading the way in this regard is artists who are making use of sustainable materials in their work. In this blog post, we will appreciate these artists and discuss why their efforts are important.

Firstly, it is essential to recognize that the art industry is not exempt from contributing to the global environmental crisis. The use of non-biodegradable materials such as plastic, foam, and other synthetic materials has become commonplace in the industry.

However, some artists have taken it upon themselves to make use of sustainable materials such as recycled paper, wood, natural fibers, and other biodegradable materials.

By doing this, they are reducing the amount of waste generated from their art-making process and promoting sustainable living. It was indeed a privillage to witness these beautiful artwork of Denis Sagdic, truly mesmerising art pieces in Istanbul Grand Airport Turkiye.

Her artwork make the use of the sustainable materials in art, which can also be viewed as a form of activism. It is a way to use these craft to bring attention to environmental issues and encourage people to adopt more sustainable practices.

Denis created large-scale art installations using discarded materials such as plastic bottles and old PCBs (a in inspiration to recycle the unused STEMBots I believe 🙂 ).

The choice of materials drew attention to the amount of waste generated by our society. Her works serve as a reminder of the impact of human activities on the environment.

These works are not only visually striking but also serve as a commentary on consumer culture and waste management.Artists who are making use of sustainable materials in their work deserve our appreciation and support.

Their efforts are a step in the right direction towards promoting sustainable living and reducing our carbon footprint.
