“InCites for University and Faculty Analysis and Reporting”

1. Understand how to use InCites to report on your faculty or department’s Web of Science research productivity, quality, impact and performance.
2. Learn about how the departments in other universities are performing.
3. .Develop strategies to evaluate institutes that are contextually comparable.
4. Contrast institutes based on volume output overall or within subject areas.
5. Understand the pitfalls of comparing departments or institutes from different regional contexts, varying funding models or different research areas.
6. Identify potential collaborators based on their research productivity, quality, impact and performance.
