Associate Profesor Dr Hamdan Daniyal is an academician at Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik & Elektronik (FKEE) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) since 2003. He received his PhD degree (2011) from The University of Western Australia through his research in digital current control. Before starts academician life, he was an EE engineer at a switch mode power supply company in Malaysia. As academician, he involves in many roles including researcher, supervisor, consultant and manager, aparts from teaching job. Currently, he is serving UMP as the Deputy Dean of FKEE. He became one of the key person in Sustainable Energy & Power Electronics Research (SuPER) Cluster, UMP. His research interest include switching strategy, nonlinear control and digital control in power electronics applications such as renewable energy, electric vehicle, battery management, power quality and active power filters. AP Dr. Hamdan Daniyal is a member of IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) and IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES).
