Anvarjon Ahmedov

I am Anvarjon Ahmedov Akhatjonovich, currently I am working at the Faculty of Industrial Sciences & Technology of Universiti Malaysia Pahang. I was born in 17th April, 1973 in Uzgen, Osh Region, Kyrgyzstan. I finished the secondary school with Honours in 1990 and I was Awarded with Silver Medal for Excellent Achievements by Ministry of Education. I entered the Tashkent State University (now known as National University of Uzbekistan) in 1991. I studied at this university from 1991 to 1996 and got my Specialist Degree in Mathematics. During of my studies in Tashkent State University I was awarded Mirzo Ulughbek award in 1995 by Higher Education Ministry of Uzbekistan, in 1996 I was awarded with President of Uzbekistan Award in 1996. For achievements in education and research I was awarded with Shuhrat Medal by the President of the Uzbekistan in 1996. At those times, we didn’t have Bachelor Degree and therefore we had the opportunity of entering PhD program straight away. Due to my outstanding performance, I got scholarship from Uzbekistan Government for PhD studies at Tashkent State University at the mathematical modeling department of the Faculty of Mathematics. I was involved in the scientific Research School on the Modern Methods of Mathematical Physics led by Prof Alimov Sh.A. and Prof Rakhimov A.A. was appointed as my supervisor. Because of the hard works in the field of the Spectral theory of differential operators I managed to solve most difficult problems proposed by my supervisor. The results of my thesis published by Uzbek Mathematical Journal in 1996 and 1997. I had finished my PhD Thesis in November, 1998, and after submission to the Management of the Institute for Mathematical Research of the National Academy of Uzbekistan, Management decided to award me PhD Degree in Mathematics and Physics. In February,1999, I was awarded PhD degree in Mathematics and Physics entitled “On the sufficient conditions of almost everywhere convergence of the spectral expansions connected to the elliptic operators”. I started to work as senior Lecturer at the department of Mathematical Physics of the Faculty of Mathematics, Tashkent State University. In 2000 the Tashkent state University was renamed as National University of Uzbekistan and I was appointed as Deputy head of Department of the department of Mathematical Physics of the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology. In 2004 I was offered by Osh Technogical University (OTU), Kyrgyzstan to the position of the Head of the department of Physics and Mathematics department. I accepted this invitation and transferred to OUT, Faculty of Engineering Technology. In 2006 I was invited by the Kyrgyz Uzbek International University to the position of the Head of the Applied Mathematics department in the Faculty of Computer Technology and Communications, International Kyrgyz Uzbek University (KUU). During my work in KUU I organized Research group "Modern methods of Mathematics Physics" and was appointed as Director of this research group by the Deputy Rector of Research of the KUU. In 2007 my research group won a Grant from Scientific Department of the Higher Education Ministry of Kyrgyzstan for the research project entitled “Investigation on Modern Problems of Mathematical Analysis by Operator Methods” . In June 2008, I got an invitation from Institute for Mathematical Research, UPM to the position Visiting Scientist. After acceptance of the offer I was attached to the Laboratory of Computational Sciences and Technology, INSPEM. I worked in INSPEM until 6 November, 2008. In 7 November, I got offer from Faculty of Engineering, UPM to the Senior Lecturer position. In 2013 I was promoted to the position of Associate Professor. In 2016 I was offered by Univeriti Malaysia Pahang to the position of Associate Professor. Within the area of Partial Differential Equations, my research interest is primarily on the Mathematical Modelling of Engineering Processes, Mathematical Analysis, Spectral Theory of Differential operators. The importance of this interdisciplinary area may be seen from the fact that the application of the methods of modern mathematics are currently of both fundamental and technological significance in Engineering. Under my supervision 7 Phd and 12 Master students successfully completed their studies . I am the organizer of the weekly seminar entitled “Modern Methods of Mathematical Physics and its applications”.
