Biography

 

Dr. Siti Zubaidah Ismail is a Senior Lecturer in Manufacturing System at the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). Her research focuses on product-service systems inventory control strategy and formulation in particular the development, deployment and alignment of manufacturing organisation’s practices and policies and agile system design in automotive parts. She has worked on the operation of different manufacturing practices and corporate strategies at United Kingdom and Malaysia,  from metal and plastic fabrication, product design and production and operation management such as Shell Malaysia, TPM Engineering Malaysia and Universiti Kuala Lumpur Institute of Product Design and Manufacturing. She is a realistic optimist that always open to challenges and eager to learn new things. She interested to be a competence academician in Manufacturing Operations that relates to product service systems; operations and supply chain management; production inventory control; and business intelligence. She aims to perpetuate knowledge and inspire learning to foster students’ passions and curiosity with the inter-disciplinary skills to address the technical and socio-organizational challenges.
