The Thirteenth International Multi-Conference on Computing in the Global Information Technology (ICCGI 2018) was held at NOVOTEL VENEZIA MESTRE CASTELLANA, Venice, Italy on June 24 through June 28, 2018, and is part of InfoWare 2018 organised by IARIA (http://www.iaria.org/).

I was presenting a research paper of my student, Akhyari Nasir  titled

“Conceptualizing and Validating Information Security Culture as a Multidimensional Second-Order Formative Construct”.

The purpose of submitting and presenting this paper is to share my student’s research finding and hopefully will get feed backs from other researchers in the conference, and to enable the paper to be published in the proceedings that will be indexed in ISI Thomson Reuters.

I was a little bit disappointed with the number of participants joining this event, which seems not more than 100 delegates during the opening of the conference, which already included all participants from other conferences colocated for InfoWare 2018.  This was my second time having a small number of participants as what I had experienced on my last year conference at College of Charleston, South Carolina, USA April 1-3, 2017 (ICISDM 2017).

From my presentation, I only received three questions, and there were not much input from the participants since they were not into my area of research. However, there’s a consolation to this paper by getting one of  the ‘Best Papers of the conference’, and can be extended to be included in one of the IARIA journals.
