CiREL UMP has organised a workshop called KALAM to Open Courseware (OCW) for Webometrics (KALAM2OCW4WEBO), which prepares the selected participants to produce a courseware on OCW on behalf of UMP.
Almost 70 lecturers from all faculties in UMP have participated in the 1st workshop held at Kijal Resort World at Kijal Terengganu on 18 to 20 August, 2017. At the end of the workshop, less than 50% of the participants able to complete the 21 documents per course required to be uploaded to OCW. Thus, the organizer has given a new deadline as being reminded by my faculty’s E-Learning coordinator:

Congratulations for the lecturers who already finished 100% to OCW platform. Well done!
For those who are not finish yet, the deadline for 100% upload to ocw.ump.edu.my portal is 23rd August 2017 (Wednesday) for GROUP 1 (AWANA KIJAL). CIReL needs to prepare the report to UMP by 25th August, 2017 (Friday).
All the courses need to validate. The validation activities will be held at faculty level as follows:
- Faculty will assign one validator for each course
- Author needs to present and get the approval from validator by completing the OCW Validation Form (hard copy that required signature by author and validator)
- Please keep all contents + similar checking reports in secure storage
- Validation activities need to be completed by 15th September, 2017
