Research

My research interest is in, but not limited to, Sports Engineering and Technology. This can be considered as a new field in Malaysia, although many research has been done within this area all around the world. In particular, I am interested in developing equipment that can be used in sports, such as training or testing equipment. I am also interested in modelling the interaction between an athlete and the equipment by means of Finite Element Model (FEM). In addition, I am also interested in sports injury prevention, which might involve the development of protective gear for sports or analysing current injuries that occur in sporting activities.
