Introduction:

Dr. Ahmad Najmuddin bin Ibrahim currently serves as a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) which is located in the city of Pekan, Pahang, Malaysia. He is actively participating in various project in Robotics and Automation, mainly in the field of outdoor automation and robotic locomotion.

Dr. Najmuddin is a year 2007 graduate of the Special Japanese Preparation Course at Ambang Asuhan Jepun, Pusat Asasi Sains, Universiti Malaya and went on to earn his first degree, Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Intelligent Systems Engineering at University of Ibaraki, Japan in 2011. He continued his masters in Intelligent Systems Engineering and graduated in 2013. He obtained his Phd in the year 2017 at the Ibaraki Universiti Graduate School of Science and Engineering majoring in Industrial Science.

He is proficient in Japanese language (日本語能力試験 Level N1), English, and Bahasa Malaysia. His hobbies includes photography, tinkering with machines, and travelling into nature.

Dr. Najmuddin is currently closely working together with Ibaraki University on rover locomotion research and actively looking for collaboration opportunities with other universities and industries as well.
