As part of the initiative to enhance library services at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), the Library-Faculty Representative was established as a communication channel between the library and faculties. I am honored to be appointed as the Faculty Representative for the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE) from 2025 to 2026.

Objectives and Responsibilities of the Appointment

This committee serves as a platform to discuss current needs and issues related to library services, ensuring that users receive the best possible benefits. As a Faculty Representative, my key responsibilities include:

1. Information Liaison – Disseminating library announcements to the faculty.
2. Resource Recommendations – Suggesting new collections such as books, databases, and electronic resources to enrich the library.
3. Accreditation Support & Information Literacy Programs – Assisting in the preparation of materials for accreditation audits and coordinating literacy programs such as Mendeley, Turnitin, SciVal, and UMPSA-IR.
4. Reporting & Updates – Presenting reports on library-related learning, teaching, and research activities to the faculty.

As a representative comittee, I am committed to strengthening library services by ensuring that the faculty’s needs are addressed. This includes making sure that relevant and up-to-date learning resources are available for students and researchers at FTKEE.
