A Research Group Strategic Meeting was held with the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE) to discuss research strategies and planning for high-quality journal publications. The meeting took place on March 3-4, 2025.
Among the key discussion points were:
✅ Enhancing Publication Quality – The FTKEE Dean emphasized the importance of publishing in high-impact journals to elevate the faculty’s reputation at the international level.
✅ Writing & Collaboration Strategies – Research group members were encouraged to collaborate with both local and international researchers to increase the impact of their studies.
✅ Research Grants – Discussion on funding opportunities to support research that can lead to high-quality publications.
✅ Publication KPIs – New targets were set to ensure an increase in the number of articles published in top-tier journals annually.
The session concluded with an open discussion, where research group members shared challenges and suggestions to strengthen the research ecosystem within the faculty. With continuous commitment and effort, FTKEE is expected to continue excelling in producing research that significantly impacts both industry and society.
The meeting was also attended by Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Rusllim Bin Mohamed, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni), who is also a member of the Power Electronics & Drives research group.
