UMP IR Team, Meet & Assist the faculties
On 23rd of January 2018, the UMP IR team from Knowledge Management Unit had a Meet&Assist half day session each at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Natural Resources (FKKSA) and Faculty of Industrial Sciences & Technology (FIST). The objective of the session are to meet the lecturers face to face and assist them regarding their submission through UMP-IR system.
Pn. Noorul Farina Arifin, Senior Librarian and Cik Ratna Wilis Haryati Mustapa, Senior Assistant Librarian provides explanation and hands-on to lecturer on how to submit, deposit, search and collections available in UMP IR. The session also provides on the spot access for lecturers with a short tutorial on UMP-IR. It takes about a minimum of twenty (20) minutes to one and half hour (1.30 hours) for each individual session.
During the session, the UMP IR team receive positive feedback from lecturers pertaining to UMP IR. Approching the faculty, the Meet&Assist session is more relevent to the lecturers because they can relate and inquire to what is needed in the UMP-IR. Future Meet&Assist session is already planned and will be informed to the faculties by the Knowledge Management Unit.
