Hari Raya is about building on the relationships, the existing and the new ones. Malaysia is a multi-cultural and multi-racial country where everyone appears to live in harmony. Open house has always been used as a symbol which shows that the nation is living in harmony. It is nice to see people from different races celebrating their respective festivities with each other.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak attended an Aidilfitri gathering organised by the Universiti Malaysia Pahang or UMP. The Launching Ceremony of UMP mosque & Open House was held at University Malaysia Pahang Pekan Campus on 22 July 2017. University Malaysia Pahang welcomed about 2000 staffs from different faculties and departments.
