The Ministry of Health (MOH) and Higher Education Ministry (MoHE) have advised all Malaysian students to take preventive measures including good social distance, using facemasks and washing hands frequently to avoid COVID-19 infection. At this moment, there is no vaccines or medicines to treat COVID-19.

The protection of staff, students and educational facilities is particularly important. Precautions are necessary to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 in university settings.

For the Universiti Malaysia Pahang staff, we are instructed by the management to work from home from 17 March 2020 to 1st June 2020. Subsequently, students were instructed to stay at campus without returning to the hometown. However from 1-3 May, 2020, students will be able to return to their hometowns under the strict supervision using ” Sistem Pergerakan Pulang Pelajar Pengajian Tinggi ‘.
