Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) facilitates an annual employee recognition program to honor and acknowledge excellence at work.
Outstanding Employee Awards recognize officers of administration and classified staff who:
- demonstrate excellence on the job,
- exemplify key components of the university mission,
- critical thinking, effective reasoning, clear communication
- creativity, act ethically, foster admiration among colleagues, and model high performance standards
UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie said that in addition to the new organizational structure that emphasized on the sharing of responsibility and talent development among other commitments of the UMPSA management, it would continue the implementation of the Pay for Performance (P4P) performance management system with several improvement initiatives for increase its effectiveness and efficiency.
There are six categories of awards to be presented including the Excellence in Service (APC) Award, Sports Award, ICT Award (K-Portal), Publication Award, Occupational Safety & Health Excellence Award (AKKKP), Industry & Community Excellence Award (AKIM). Congratulations to all UMP staff that received this award.
