Engineering Project Final Presentations

Door Lock System based On Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) because there have been many cases of burglary in this world. This problem mostly caused due to weak of locking door system. Most cases proved that traditional locking door are easily broke. Traditional locks are strong but easily broken using some tools while Automatic door lock system is expensive. User will think twice when buying automatic door lock system. That is why these students decided to design a simple door lock system using Arduino Uno, RFID and keypad. RFID reader is a wireless device used to transfer data for recognizing and tracking tags connected to objects. The tag includes electronically stored information. Some tag is run by electromagnetic induction from magnetic field formed near the reader. RFID is easily cloned. Therefore, we added the RFID with keypad. That means the user need to pass of the two security before the door is open. This system not only safer but it also cheap. Moreover, the benefit of this system is user does not need to bring the key. Users does not need to worry about losing the key or fidgeting at the door to open the lock. This project is different from the previous project because it focuses on door sensors that detect human presence.
